More and more companies are moving Claude from experiments into production, and Anthropic is building a partner network to support them. They have launched Claude Partner Network designed for services firms that help companies put Claude into production.
More than ten of our engineers have already received Anthropic certifications, and ScrumLaunch has recently earned Certified status within the Claude Partner Network.
What does this status actually mean? What does Anthropic require for it, and what does it mean for the clients building with us?
Here is how the program works, what we have achieved so far, and what we are working toward.
Claude Partner Network Tiers, Requirements, and Where We Stand
The Claude Partner Network supports organizations that build, deliver, and scale Claude-based solutions for customers. The program provides access to partner resources, training, certification exams, Anthropic Partner Academy, the Claude Partner Hub, and other resources for building a Claude practice.
New members enter the network at Registered, the entry level. This gives them access to Anthropic’s partner training and product update briefings. For our clients, it means the team building their products can learn about changes to Claude directly from Anthropic and plan for them.
The Claude Partner Network Services Track has three main tiers: Select, Preferred, and Global Premier. Each is measured on three criteria: certified people, customers running Claude in production, and public customer stories. The lowest tier, Select, asks for minimum 10 certified practitioners, two customers live in production within the past 12 months, and one public customer story.
Anthropic reviews tier standing on a fixed schedule: promotions are processed on January 1 and July 1, with one extra review on October 1, 2026 in the program's first year. Standing is measured against published requirements, and each firm can track its own numbers in the Partner Hub.
Any company choosing a partner can also check in the Claude Partner Hub's public directory that a firm's claimed tier matches its listing.
At the end of September, Anthropic informed partners by email that, effective October 1, 2026, it would add Certified status as an intermediate milestone between the entry-level Registered status and the Select tier. Companies reach the Certified status when at least three people hold tier-eligible certifications. Certified partners can publicly identify themselves as Claude Partner Network partners and use the Certified badge, while the other Services Track partner benefits begin at Select.
Here is the full ladder, from entry level to the top tier:

ScrumLaunch received Certified status as soon as Anthropic introduced it, with more than ten engineers already holding tier-eligible certifications. That gives us a formal milestone on the way to Select.
Our Claude-Certified Engineering Team
Anthropic certifications are held by individual engineers. Each one is earned through a proctored exam covering how to design applications on Claude, work with its API and tools, manage context and cost, and build agent-based systems.
Anthropic currently offers four role-based Claude certifications. Three of them count toward a firm's partner tier: Claude Certified Developer: Foundations, Claude Certified Architect: Foundations, and Claude Certified Architect: Professional.
As of the publication date of this article, eleven ScrumLaunch engineers hold Claude Certified Architect: Professional certifications.
Our certified team continues to grow as more engineers take the exams. We treat certification as an investment in our engineering practice. For our clients, the practical effect is a shared baseline: engineers on a project apply the same design patterns and know where Claude performs well and where it needs constraints.
How We Build Claude Applications for Production
Claude already runs in production inside products we build and support for clients. In those products, the model is one component among several. A significant part of the engineering goes into what surrounds it: integration with existing systems, evaluation, cost control, data handling, and behavior under real usage. This is where we spend most of our effort, and it is where clients most need an experienced partner.
One example of our work with Claude is a Voice AI Agent for a customer communications platform. The project brings conversational AI into existing telephone workflows, helping businesses handle customer enquiries and collect information before handing a conversation over to a human receptionist when needed.
The solution uses Claude Haiku 4.5 through Amazon Bedrock within the customer’s AWS environment. It is designed to support inbound and outbound calls, configurable conversation scripts, and responses grounded in business information from websites and documents. Integration with existing business APIs connects conversations to operational workflows, while transcripts and post-call summaries give staff the context they need for follow-up.
We submitted this project to the Claude Partner Network, and Anthropic acknowledged its registration. It provides a practical example of our experience integrating Claude with voice technology, customer knowledge, and existing business systems.
This project also shows how we work with Claude more broadly. We make architecture decisions based on Anthropic’s current guidance and product direction, then design, build, and test the AI components together with the rest of the product. For our clients building on Claude, it means working with a Claude development company and implementation partner whose engineers hold current Anthropic certifications and have shipped Claude-based features to production.
Our goal is not simply to add Claude to an application, but to make the resulting feature work reliably within the product around it. Learn more on our AI transformation services.
A Program that Changed Along the Way
When we started working toward partner status, the program was still new, and its structure and certification requirements developed along the way.
When Anthropic launched the network in March 2026, it offered partners Anthropic Academy training, the sales playbooks its own go-to-market team uses, and co-marketing resources. Qualified partners were to be listed in a Services Partner Directory where enterprise buyers can find firms with Claude implementation experience. The only available certification was Claude Certified Architect: Foundations, a technical exam for solution architects building production applications with Claude, with more certifications promised.
On June 3, Anthropic introduced the Services Track with three partner tiers: Select, Preferred, and Global Premier, with now clear requirement to qualify for each tier and a Partner Hub showing each firm's standing.
In July, three more role-based certifications followed, expanding certification beyond engineers to roles such as consultants and project leads. But as we mentioned above, of the four available certifications, only three count toward a firm's tier.
Over the summer, Anthropic also moved its certification exams from Anthropic's earlier Skilljar and ProctorFree setup to a new testing platform by Pearson.
For our team, each change meant replanning: which exams to prepare for, how to prepare, and where we stood against the criteria. Engineers studied alongside client work, and we rebuilt preparation plans as official guidance changed. Keeping up with that pace is part of working with Claude, and part of what clients rely on us for.
What Comes Next
ScrumLaunch has now reached the recently announced Certified status within the Claude Partner Network. Our next milestone is becoming a Select-tier partner.
To get there, we need to build out the remaining pillars of our partner record. With our bench of 10 certified engineers already locked in, our focus is now on verifying our production customers with Anthropic and working with clients who are willing to share their results publicly.
We intend to keep building both sides of the practice: a certified team and a proven track record of taking Claude into production for our clients. As that work becomes public, we will share it here.
