CES 2026: Most Exciting Tech, AI, and Gadget Presentations

Every January, CES transforms Las Vegas into the center of the tech world, bringing together industry giants and ambitious startups to unveil ideas. AI, robotics, laptops, health, sustainability - all of it shows up in one place to shape the year ahead, and the patterns matter more than the gadgets themselves.

Our company's representatives weren't attending this year's event to witness technology advances firsthand, but that didn't stop us from spotting the most outstanding announcements, ambitious hardware, and the overall direction of the event. First, CES is no longer a consumer gadget showcase. There were fewer flashy devices and more foundational bets - infrastructure, platforms, ecosystems. The kind of things that don't feel exciting on stage, but quietly shape markets for the next 5–10 years. Next, AI is leaving the cloud and is now running directly on devices: laptops, cars, robots, and industrial machines. Dedicated NPUs are now standard, not experimental. It means lower latency, more autonomy, and fewer privacy tradeoffs. But it isn't just faster hardware. It's a platform shift comparable to the mobile revolution. 

Robotics isn't a demo anymore. CES showed systems built to actually work in warehouses, factories, and logistics. These aren't "look what we can do" robots - they're deployable, scalable solutions. Automation is moving from showcase to operations.

Below, we’ve highlighted some of the most exciting, innovative, and promising presentations from this year's show.⠀

Nvidia Vera Rubin

Predictably, Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang used the CES 2026 stage not only to highlight the company's latest products and technologies but also to convince investors that the AI market is far from cooling off. One of his arguments was a demonstration of samples of Rubin-based accelerators. The Rubin architecture is the successor to the highly successful Blackwell. Nvidia claims that Rubin GPUs deliver five times the computing power for AI training compared to Blackwell, while AI processing costs (tokens) are expected to drop by 70%. It makes switching to Rubin profitable even if the new accelerators turn out to be significantly more expensive than the old ones. It is important not only for large tech companies but also for all of us as AI models become increasingly computationally intensive.

Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold

In the category of mobile gadgets, at CES 2026, Samsung unveiled the technology that foldable smartphone fans had been waiting for: a fully unfolded OLED display without any visible crease. What had been considered an inevitable compromise for years suddenly disappeared from view. It's a true hybrid device, functioning as a standard phone when closed and revealing a huge 10-inch display when opened, making it a practical 2-in-1 device that fits securely in your pocket.

Motorola has also launched its foldable phone, Razr Fold. It received a 6.6-inch screen on the outside and an 8.1-inch screen on the inside, three 50-megapixel cameras on the back, and support for the new Moto Pen Ultra stylus. With stylus support, it's a great option for those looking for a productivity-focused device.

Lenovo Legion Pro Rollable Concept

The Lenovo Legion Pro Rollable Concept leverages rollable OLED displays to bring ultrawide gaming to a laptop for the first time. The device features a flexible, horizontally rolling Lenovo PureSight OLED display that has three modes. In its normal state, the screen size is 16 inches (called Focus Mode). Pressing a dedicated button horizontally expands the display to 21.5 inches (Tactical Mode), and pressing it again expands it to 24 inches (Arena Mode). The latter mode is designed for eSports athletes who are used to training on 24-inch desktop monitors. The device also features an AI-powered Smart FPS feature that dynamically adjusts settings to ensure smooth and stable gaming.

Pebble Index 01

Pebble

While the entire wearables market is debating how to squeeze another heart rate monitor or sleep analyzer into a ring, this AI-powered wearable looks almost ascetic by today's standards and takes things back to basicіs. The Pebble Index 01 is a thin ring that houses just a few components: a button, a microphone, simple electronics, and a battery. No screens, step counters, or anything else, just quick, on-the-fly voice memo entry. With this device, users can make recordings that are sent to the Pebble app on their smartphone, converted to text, and automatically added to the selected service - notes, reminders, or tasks. Pebble founder Eric Migicovsky describes Index 01 as "external memory for the brain," and that's essentially how it works. From a security standpoint, the developers emphasize local processing. Speech transcription and basic AI processing occur on the smartphone itself. Cloud storage for note backup is optional. The basic scenario requires neither a subscription nor a constant internet connection.

Roborock Saros Rover

When it comes to smart home appliances, at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Roborock unveiled the Saros Rover robotic vacuum cleaner, capable of navigating where conventional models can't. The key feature of this new product is its two movable wheeled legs, which enable it to ascend and descend stairs independently. It's the first brand’s model that can navigate between floors autonomously without the aid of any additional accessories. Each leg is independently controlled, allowing the robot to adapt to varying step heights and uneven floors, and even clean stairs while climbing. It uses a combination of artificial intelligence algorithms, motion sensors, and a real-time 3D map of the room to navigate its surroundings. A year earlier, the company unveiled the Saros Z70, a robotic arm designed to pick up objects from the floor. Despite an impressive debut, the vacuum received mixed reviews due to its high price and limited object recognition.

Similarly, Dreame also unveiled the Cyber ​​X robot vacuum cleaner concept, which can navigate between floors thanks to a special lifting module with caterpillar-like "legs." It can climb steps up to 25 cm high and slopes of up to 42 degrees. In contrast to Roborock Saros Rover, this model doesn't clean stairs while climbing them. 

Boston Dynamics Atlas

Among the many humanoid robots debuting at CES 2026, Boston Dynamics' Atlas stands out. The prototype showcased at the show is a commercial version, designed for real-world work in factories and warehouses. Atlas is designed for 24/7 operation: it automatically changes batteries, can replace a damaged limb and continue its shift. Google DeepMind plays an active role in training and powering Atlas's "brain," so serious AI is very much at the core of the robot. The robot is designed for long-term operation: key components can be replaced on-site in minutes. The body and soft-touch surfaces are designed to minimize the risk of injury from accidental contact. It is also protected against dust and moisture, and it can operate reliably in harsh industrial environments. Hyundai, which owns Boston Dynamics, is already planning mass production - hundreds of thousands of robots per year, and the introduction of Atlas in its own factories.

Jackery Solar Mars Bot

Jackery has announced an innovative portable AI-powered power station called Solar Mars Bot. It's essentially a self-propelled robot that autonomously finds sunlight to recharge. The robot is equipped with an AI-powered computer vision and navigation system. It can autonomously navigate a yard or campsite, while choosing the best-lit spot. The Solar Mars Bot's foldable design unfolds, delivering up to 600W of input power. Once charged, the robot acts as a mobile power source with multiple output ports for connecting devices. The robot can return to its base station and transmit its status via a mobile app. It can also be controlled remotely via 5G and 4G networks. The durable design is designed to withstand a variety of weather conditions and terrain.

Willo 

Finnish tech startup Willo unveiled an innovative wireless power transfer system at CES 2026. The development enables charging electronic devices without cables, special contact pads, or the need for precise device positioning. A key feature of the technology is the absence of strict requirements for device placement. The system operates by creating an "energy field": charging begins automatically as soon as the device enters the transmitter's range. The technology allows the device to be freely moved or rotated without interrupting the connection. During a closed-door presentation, company representatives demonstrated the system using a prototype transmitter. Test receivers were activated approximately 40 cm (15 inches) from the source and continued to operate regardless of the angle. The company also mentions that Will supports simultaneous charging of multiple devices.

Lego Smart Play System

For the first time in history, Lego held its keynote presentation at CES. It's just because the legendary toy brand decided to showcase its first "smart brick" as part of its new Smart Play platform, which brings Lego creations and characters to life. The Lego Smart Brick is a standard Lego brick with a tiny computer inside that can work with NFC tags. It allows Lego builders to detect color, direction, distance, sound, and more. Now, Lego creations can interact with family members, allowing for more time together.

Lenovo Motorola Qira 

Along with unveiling their first foldable device, Lenovo and Motorola announced Motorola Qira, their answer to Apple Intelligence. Qira is a hybrid AI assistant that combines on-device processing and cloud models to deliver a powerful, personalized assistant available anywhere, even when you switch from the phone in your pocket to the laptop or tablet in your hand. Unlike traditional assistants tucked away in a single app, Qira lives within the operating system itself: on Lenovo laptops, Motorola smartphones, and, eventually, on other devices, even wearables.  Lenovo describes Qira through three key principles: persistent presence, action, and perception. The assistant should always be accessible, capable of not only answering questions but also performing tasks across apps and devices, and understanding context, from meeting schedules to user habits, while giving users control over their data. The system processes some requests locally to preserve privacy and speed up responses, while others are sent to the cloud, where it leverages partner models and services.

Donut Labs Solid-State Battery

Solid-state battery technology, which promises significant improvements in energy density, charging speed, and safety, is a hot topic for electric vehicles, home energy systems, drones, and many other applications. At CES 2026, Donut Lab unveiled the world's first all-solid-state battery, the Donut Battery, ready for mass production. The battery offers a full charge in five minutes, high energy density, and a lifespan of up to 100,000 cycles. It operates at -30°C, can be molded into any shape, contains no rare metals, and is safe to operate - it won't catch fire. Verge Motorcycles, Donut Labs' partner, will be the first to receive the battery in 2026. 

Allergen Alert

At CES 2026, the French startup Allergen Alert unveiled a portable device for testing food for allergens. The new device, roughly the size of a book, functions as a "mini-laboratory" and provides a clear answer as to whether a dish contains an allergen. It is designed to detect gluten and other common allergens with laboratory-quality accuracy. The development aims to reduce the risk of dangerous mistakes when dining out, for instance, when a restaurant might miss the presence of allergens in a dish. It could be life-saving. According to the company, every ten seconds in the US, a food allergy leads to a hospital visit. For people with celiac disease or severe allergies, going out to restaurants often carries serious risks. 

Beatbot AquaSense X Ecosystem

Beatbot, a company specializing in the development of smart pool-cleaning robots, unveiled a new self-cleaning pool system called AquaSense X. AquaSense X is a two-part system. The first part is the AquaSense X AI Robotic Pool Cleaner itself. According to the company, the robot is equipped with cameras, infrared, and ultrasonic sensors that help it navigate and identify debris. The robot uses artificial intelligence to recognize up to 40 common types of debris, whether on the bottom or the surface of the water. The second part of the system is the Beatbot AstroRinse Cleaning Station, which includes an automatic filter-cleaning system. AquaSense x ecosystem eliminates the most annoying task associated with robotic pool cleaners: emptying waste bins filled with wet leaves, slime, and insects. The autonomous cleaning dock empties waste into a disposable bag in a container located below. It then rinses the internal mechanisms with clean water supplied by an attached hose, keeping the filter, waste bins, and vents clean.

Petkit Yumshare Daily Feast

Pets also had their moment at CES 2026. Pet care company Petkit introduced Yumshare Daily Feast, an automatic cat feeder that Petkit describes as its first product in the field of robotic wet feeding. The device includes a built-in camera for monitoring feeding sessions and supports multi-pet recognition. It can track food freshness and ultraviolet sterilization to prevent spoilage, and also automatically remove spoiled and leftover food. Petkit also showcased the Eversweet Ultra smart water fountain, which tracks water intake, and the Purobot Crystal Duo, a robotic litter box. The litter box is equipped with an AI-powered camera that not only cleans waste but also analyzes a cat's behavior, alerting owners to potential health issues.

Luba 3 AWD

Mammotion company presented its innovative developments, including the LUBA 3 AWD lawn mower. One of the key features of the LUBA 3 AWD lawn mower is the world's first Tri-Fusion navigation system. It combines 360 LiDAR, dual cameras, NetRTK positioning, and AI-powered perception. Together, these technologies provide centimeter-level mowing accuracy on any terrain, regardless of weather or lighting conditions. Thanks to four independent motors, the LUBA 3 AWD easily climbs inclines of up to 80%. The mower has a 40 cm working width and is equipped with two 6-blade discs, two 165 W motors, and a battery with a capacity of up to 15 Ah with fast charging. It can mow up to 0.7 hectares per day.

ROG Xreal R1

Xreal's augmented reality glasses are among the best, and now Xreal partnered with ASUS to make them even better, especially for gamers. They unveiled the ROG Xreal R1 augmented reality gaming headset, positioning it as a replacement for traditional monitors for PC, console, and portable gaming. The headset features a micro-OLED display with a resolution of 1920×1080 and a refresh rate of 240Hz. ASUS claims that using the ROG Xreal R1 is comparable to viewing a 171-inch screen four meters away. It means smooth, big-screen gaming on the go. The viewing angle is 57 degrees. The device features three-degree-of-freedom spatial anchoring (Anchor Mode). This feature allows users to lock the virtual image in place, preventing it from following their head movements. These augmented reality glasses have everything to satisfy even the most demanding gamers.

Final Thoughts

The examples above are just a tiny portion of what CES 2026 really showed, and it's easy to walk away from the event thinking it's about individual products. It's not. What stood out this year wasn't any single device, but the shift in how technology is being built and deployed. Less showmanship. More systems that are ready to operate in the real world. AI is embedded in hardware. Robotics is showing up in logistics and manufacturing. CES continues to be a critical platform for revealing not just what's new, but what's next - the platforms, ecosystems, and foundational technologies that will shape markets over the next decade. With so many ideas transitioning from concept to implementation, we're watching closely to see how these innovations mature, integrate, and redefine entire industries in the months and years ahead.
